The Sue Hunter Animal Welfare Grant is an annual competitive grant that will provide financial support up to $2,000 addressing the following criteria. The grant should include at least 1 of the following criteria (Note: Documenting and evaluating how the assistance will help your program will be necessary to receive funding for your project):


-A program that needs assistance with purchasing materials for operant conditioning training.


-A program that needs assistance with purchasing materials for animal enrichment needs.


-A program that could use assistance with funds for a conservation project that is effecting a positive change for the conservation of a species.

The ideal candidate will join a nascent Animal Behavior program and help lead its development and expansion. Research social scientist, Research vet scientist, Research Coordinator Positions @ Colorado State University


The Animal Human Policy Center at Colorado State University is hiring three remote, year-long positions to contribute to a research project on stakeholder perspectives towards implementation of the Animal Welfare Act. The Center is hiring two full-time research scientists as well as a research coordinator, which are all starting August 1st.


 


 The research scientist positions include one qualitative research social science position requiring a PhD (salary $85,000-$100,000/annually) as well as one veterinary research scientist position requiring a DVM/veterinary background (salary $90,000-$105,000 annually). The research coordinator position (salary $55,000-$70,000/annually) is focused on assisting the research team with budgeting, logistics, communications, and data analysis.
