American Australian Association Graduate Education Fund

The American Australian Association established its Graduate Education Fund in 2002 to provide much needed financial support and assistance to American and Australian individuals to undertake innovative and transformational Masters, Ph.D. or Postdoctoral study and research in each other’s countries respectively. With more than 350 scholars and alumni and almost US $11 million awarded to date, we are committed to helping advance graduate education, in order to enable our countries most valuable resource – human capital – to unlock creative new solutions to global challenges and improve the quality of life for all citizens.

Ph.D. Opening in Dingo Ecology & Behavior with Dr. Bradley Smith @ CQUniversity

A PhD opportunity exists in the study of dingo ecology, behaviour and cultural importance for an independent and self-motivated Australian domestic postgraduate student with a 1st Class honours degree in the biological or social sciences. The proposed project will focus on the wartarji (dingo) residing in the Great Sandy Desert (GSD) region of Western Australia.


The three main aims and outcomes of the funded study include:

1. To learn about the population dynamics, diet, genetics, and movements of dingoes within the GSD.
