ManyDogs board position
We have three important issues to highlight:
1. Code of Conduct
Active membership in ManyDogs (MD) will now be maintained by signing/re-signing and abiding by the https://manydogsproject.github.io/codeofconduct.html each year. Everyone will need to sign the COC before running for MD positions, voting in elections, and participating in any MD projects or activities. Feel free to reach out to the https://manydogsproject.github.io/leadership.html if you have any questions. Take a few minutes now to sign the form!
2. Call for proposals
Just a reminder that the https://manydogsproject.github.io/call.html closes on July 31st, so get those proposals in!
3. Election
MD will soon have an election for three leadership positions in the organization, one Co-Director and two Assistant Directors (one leading the Funding committee and one leading the Project Selection & Monitoring committee).
Any member of the MD is eligible to run for Co-Director or Assistant Director. If you’d like to nominate yourself or someone else for the Co-Director or Assistant Director election, please fill out the nomination form before July 24th. We’ll reach out to all nominees to confirm whether they’d like to run for office.
For the sake of transparency, no one came forward to act as an Election Teller, so I will be running the election on my own.
If you have any questions about any of these issues, feel free to email me (mailto:jeffrey.r.stevens@gmail.com) or message me in Slack.
Thanks!
Jeff Stevens
