About the event

Join us in Vancouver for the 2026 Canine Science Conference, where we are excited to celebrate the full diversity of the canine science community. This year, we are taking special care to not only foster connections between scientists, but to also introduce visitors to the vibrant heritage of the local Indigenous culture. In addition to an invited talk on the now extinct Coast Salish Woolly dog, the conference will be using Indigenous-owned caterers, and featuring the Coast Salish Woolly dog in this year’s conference materials.

There will be an additional event at the end of the conference sponsored by the ASPCA. This event will focus on early life adversity and trauma in dogs.

This event has a group. You’re welcome to join the group once you register for the event.
