TRANSIT & transportation
The SkyTrain system serves the Metro Vancouver region, composed of the Canada Line, the Expo Line, and the Millennium Line. The Canada Line runs between the airport, Richmond, and Downtown Vancouver. The Expo Line connects the neighbouring cities of Burnaby, New Westminster, and Surrey to Downtown. The Millennium Line connects East Vancouver to the neighbouring cities of Burnaby, Port Moody, and Coquitlam. The Burrard and Granville (Expo Line) and the Vancouver City Centre (Canada Line) SkyTrain stations are at a walkable distance to the conference venue.
The SkyTrain, bus, and SeaBus are all operated by TransLink. Methods to purchase a fare include using cash (CAD) (for the bus), debit/credit cards, or buy purchasing a single ticket, DayPass, or Compass transit card. Compass cards are a reloadable fare card available for purchase at SkyTrain stations, SeaBus terminals, and some retailers.
You may also access services such as taxis, car share, and bike share to get around the city.
