Come join our team! We will be accepting applications for a PhD student to join our lab in fall 2024.
The PhD student will be enrolled in the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University Biomedical Sciences PhD program with a focus on human-animal interaction. This position will support our National Institutes of Health-funded (R01) research study assessing the role of dogs in supporting teenagers with social anxiety.
The PhD student will join our growing team at the Pets and Well-Being (PAW) Lab, which is housed in the Tufts Center for Animals and Public Policy, providing the opportunity for interdisciplinary collaborations and professional networking.
Competitive applicants will have a strong background in psychology, human development, or related fields, and quantitative research methods, as well as experience in human-animal interaction. Feel free to contact me with any questions!
