Postdoctoral Research Associate position at The University of Arizona

We are seeking applicants for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our interdisciplinary human-animal interaction research group at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine. The candidate will be dually mentored by Dr. Emily Bray & Dr. Kerri Rodriguez. The ideal candidate will contribute to a funded research study investigating the impact of pets on human mental health and wellbeing by employing ecological momentary assessment tools to capture daily interactions with people and their pets. 

Please note: This position does not include visa sponsorship. Candidates must already possess the necessary work authorization to be employed in the US.

1. Research intern: We will have an opening for a research intern position starting between May and July of 2025 (dates flexible). The position is available for 1 – 2 years, but longer term extension is possible for the motivated applicant. Applicants should hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and be approved to work in the United States. The closing date for applications will be December 5th, 2024.
